The Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 112 dismissed the syndicated estafa and Securities Regulation Code violation cases against her, citing a lack of probable cause.

Miranda's legal troubles began in November 2024 when she was arrested on multiple counts of violating the Securities Regulation Code. Following her arrest, she was detained but was subsequently released on December 4, 2024, after a court order.

Throughout the legal proceedings, Miranda maintained her innocence, asserting that her involvement with Dermacare was limited to being an endorser, with no direct participation in its business operations. Her husband, Chito Miranda, frontman of the band Parokya ni Edgar, consistently expressed support for his wife, emphasizing her integrity and the unjust nature of the accusations.

Following the court's decision, Chito Miranda took to social media to express his gratitude, stating, "Thank You, Lord. Mabuti nalang talaga na alam ni Lord ang buong katotohanan kaya never Nya pinabayaan si Neri." He further highlighted Neri's kindness and hardworking nature, noting that those who know her can attest to her character.

With the dismissal of these charges, Neri Miranda can now move forward, free from the weight of these accusations. Her legal team hopes that this ruling will finally put an end to the controversy surrounding her and allow justice to be served against those truly responsible.

The court's decision underscores the importance of thorough investigations and the need for sufficient evidence before implicating individuals in legal controversies. Miranda's exoneration serves as a reminder of the potential consequences of unfounded accusations on personal and professional lives.
