The Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) has announced the school and room assignments for the upcoming Licensure Examination for Architects, scheduled to take place from January 24 to 26, 2024.
As candidates prepare for the examination day, it is crucial to ensure they have the necessary items, including the Notice of Admission, Official Receipt, two or more pencils (No. 2), ball pens with black ink only, one long brown envelope, and one long transparent (non-colored) plastic envelope for keeping valuables and other permitted items.
Additionally, candidates should bring negative RT-PRC test results or a copy of their vaccination card.
Adherence to the proper dress code is essential on the examination day. Male and female examinees are advised to wear plain tuck-in polo t-shirts without logos or white blouses/shirts with collars. Comfortable slacks or decent pants are recommended attire for both.
Certain items are prohibited inside the examination room, including calculators with embedded programs, specific books and materials, smartwatches, cellular phones, wireless earplugs, electronic communication devices, bags of any kind, and other undisclosed examination aides.
The examination will cover various subjects such as the History and Theory of Architecture, Principles of Planning, Architecture Practice, Utilities System/Structural Conceptualization/Building Materials and Construction, and Architectural Design and Site Planning. It is crucial for candidates to familiarize themselves with these regulations and requirements to ensure a smooth and successful examination experience.
