The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is set to unveil the results of the Licensure Examination for Real Estate Consultants held on January 8-12, 2024.
The release, scheduled for January 16, 2024, will include details such as the list of passers, topnotchers, and the performance of schools.
For successful examinees, the initial registration process for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be announced at a later date. The PRC has outlined requirements, including the Notice of Admission (NOA) for identification purposes, a duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, two passport-sized ID photos on a white background with a complete name tag, two sets of documentary stamps, and a short brown envelope. Examinees meeting these criteria will be included in the Rooster of Registered Professionals.
Following the announcement of results, the PRC has conducted face-to-face oath-taking ceremonies for new professionals. Successful examinees are required to register online and confirm their attendance. The exact date for face-to-face or virtual oath-taking will be announced later.
In addition, inductees are mandated to present either a vaccination card or negative PT-PCR results taken within 48 hours before the scheduled oath-taking. Confirmation of attendance is essential, whether the ceremony is held virtually or in regions where the licensure examination took place.
The coverage of the Licensure Examination for Real Estate Consultants encompasses a broad spectrum of topics related to the fundamentals of real estate consulting. It includes the fundamentals of consulting, standards, and ethics, emphasizing the Uniform Standard of Professional Realty Consultant Practice (USPRCP) and the National Code of Ethics and Responsibilities.

Additionally, candidates must showcase knowledge of the land management system and real property laws, covering legal frameworks such as P.D 957, B.P. 220, Family Code, Civil Code, Commercial Laws, National Internal Revenue Code, and RESA 9646/1RR. Specific laws related to Condominiums, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT), Time Sharing, and Cooperatives are also included.
The examination extends to topics in professional consultancy practice, requiring proficiency in consulting tools and techniques, project feasibility studies, and investment measurement tools. Real estate consulting and investment analysis, along with consulting for specific engagements like residential, commercial, industrial, recreation, resort, and hotel properties, constitute integral components.
Specialized areas include consulting for distressed properties, leasing and buying analysis, business communication/technical writing, environmental impact assessment (EIA) study, and a grasp of current events. Practical application through case studies is also expected.
