The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is set to announce the results of the Radiologic Technologists examination held on December 11 and 12, 2023. The release, scheduled for December 15, 2023, will encompass details such as the list of passers, top performers, and the performance ranking of schools.
Concerning the initial registration for Licensed Radiologic Technologists, examinees are advised by the PRC to fulfill specific requirements and adhere to the outlined registration steps. Successful examinees will be officially registered and included in the Rooster of Registered Professionals. The necessary documents include the Notice of Admission (NOA) for identification, completion of the Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, submission of two passport-sized ID photos with a white background and complete name tag, two sets of documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope.
Furthermore, a verification process for the examination rating has been established. Face-to-face oath-taking ceremonies for new professionals have already been conducted by the PRC, and successful examinees are required to register online before the scheduled oath-taking date. The specific mode (virtual or face-to-face) of the oath-taking ceremony will be announced at a later date. Additionally, inductees must present either their vaccination card or negative PT-PCR results taken within 48 hours before the scheduled oath-taking. Examinees are urged to confirm their attendance, regardless of the mode, in the regions where they undertook their licensure examination.
The comprehensive licensure examination for Radiologic Technologists encompasses various subjects, including Radiologic Physics, Equipment, Biology, Protection; Image Production and Evaluation; Radiographic Positioning and Radiologic Procedures; Patient Care and Management; and Radiological Sciences. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 2,155 out of 3,878 passed the Radiologic Technologists Licensure Examination and 67 out of 235 passed the X-Ray Technologists Licensure Examination given by the Board of Radiologic Technology in N. C. R., Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this December 2023.
The members of the Board of Radiologic Technology who gave the licensure examinations are Hon. Reynaldo Apolonio S. Tisado, Chairman; Hon. Orestes P. Monzon, Hon. Bayani C. San Juan, Hon. Ma. Jesette B. Canales and Hon. Roland P. Conanan, Members.
The results were released in three (3) working days after the last day of examinations.
Starting February 6, 2024, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
