The requirements for initial registration include the Notice of Admission (NOA) for identification, a completed Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, two passport-sized ID photos with a complete name tag, two sets of documentary stamps, and a short brown envelope.

Verification of ratings is an essential step, and the PRC has conducted face-to-face oath-taking ceremonies for new professionals. Successful examinees are required to register no later than 12:00 noon before the scheduled oath-taking date at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm their attendance. The exact date for face-to-face or virtual oath-taking will be announced later. Inductees must bring either their vaccination card or negative PT-PCR results taken within 48 hours before the oath-taking schedule. Confirming attendance is crucial, whether the ceremony is virtual or face-to-face, especially in the regions where the licensure examination was conducted.

The licensure examination for X-Ray Technologists covers various topics, including Radiologic Physics, Equipment, and Maintenance; Radiobiology, Radiation Protection, and Quality Assurance; Image Production and Evaluation; Radiographic Procedures and Techniques; and Patient Care, Management, Ethics, and Jurisprudence, Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Medical Terminology.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 2,155 out of 3,878 passed the Radiologic Technologists Licensure Examination and 67 out of 235 passed the X-Ray Technologists Licensure Examination given by the Board of Radiologic Technology in N. C. R., Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this December 2023.           

The members of the Board of Radiologic Technology who gave the licensure examinations are Hon. Reynaldo Apolonio S. Tisado, Chairman; Hon. Orestes P. Monzon, Hon. Bayani C. San Juan, Hon. Ma. Jesette B. Canales and Hon. Roland P. Conanan, Members.

The results were released in three (3) working days after the last day of examinations.

Starting February 6, 2024, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line.  Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.  Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope.  Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
