Midwife Licensure November 2023 Examination Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is set to release the results of the November 2023 Midwife Licensure Exam, including the list of successful examinees, top performers, and school rankings, on November 9, 2023.

Initial Registration for New Professionals

Online registration for newly successful examinees to obtain their licenses will be held on dates yet to be announced (TBA). Registrants are required to complete the online registration process on the PRC Official Website (Online Registration Page) following the provided steps. The registration necessitates the submission of specific documents such as the Notice of Admission/NOA, accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, passport-sized ID photos with complete name tags, documentary stamps, and a short brown envelope. The PRC emphasizes that successful examinees must personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Verification of Rating

The verification of ratings for the November 2023 Midwife Licensure Exam (MLE) will be accessible online a few business days subsequent to the release of results. Successful examinees can use the Verification Page on the PRC Official Website to confirm their board examination passing rate by providing essential information such as the exam name, date of examination, application number, first and last name, and birthdate.

Oath-Taking Ceremonies

With the conclusion of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Professional Regulation Commission has initiated face-to-face oath-taking ceremonies for new professionals. Interested successful examinees should register for the face-to-face mass oath-taking no later than 12:00 NN a day before the scheduled event at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm their attendance. The specific format of the oath-taking, whether it will be conducted face-to-face or virtually, will be announced accordingly. Attendees are required to present either their Vaccination Card or a negative RT-PCR result taken within 48 hours prior to the oath-taking. It is recommended that inductees register and confirm their attendance in the regions where they took their licensure examination and plan to register as professionals. Those unable to attend the scheduled face-to-face mass oath-taking may opt for the online oath-taking or request a special oath-taking.

Exam Coverage

The November 2023 Midwife Licensure Exam (MLE) encompassed the following subjects: Obstetrics, Fundamentals of Health Care, Infant Care and Feeding, Primary Health Care, and Professional Growth and Development.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 2,800 out of 4,119 passed the Licensure Examination for Midwives given by the Board of Midwifery in

N. C. R., Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Kidapawan, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this November 2023. 

The members of the Board of Midwifery who gave the licensure examination are Melchor C. Dela Cruz, Jr., Chairman; Lerma M. Valenzuela, Corazon F. Landicho, Lourdes S. Mangahas and Liwayway M. Piedad, Members.

From December 18 to December 22, 2023, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line.  Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.  Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope.  Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
