The Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) has published the school assignments for the upcoming Agriculturist Licensure Examination scheduled to take place from November 20 to 22, 2023.
The examination will be conducted in various cities, including NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Kidapawan, and Palawan.
For the examination day, candidates are required to bring their Notice of Admission, Official Receipt, two or more No. 2 pencils, black ball pens, a long brown envelope, and a long transparent (non-colored) plastic envelope for storing valuables and other allowed items. Depending on circumstances, candidates may also need to present negative RT-PCR test results or a Certificate of Quarantine.
There is a specified dress code for both male and female examinees, which includes a plain tuck-in polo t-shirt for males and a white blouse or shirt with a collar for females, along with comfortable slacks or decent pants.
Certain items are prohibited inside the examination room, including calculators with embedded programs (such as CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus), books, review materials, smartwatches, cellular phones, wireless earplugs, and other communication devices, as well as any type of bag.
The examination will cover various topics, including Crop Science, Soil Science, Crop Protection, Animal Science, Agricultural Economics and Marketing, and Agricultural Extension and Communication. Examinees are reminded to adhere strictly to the prescribed protocols during the examination.
