Professional Forester Licensure October 2023 Examination Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) administered the Professional Forester licensure exam (PFLE) from October 17 to 18 in various cities, including Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

The individuals from the Board for Foresters responsible for overseeing the licensure examination include Neria A. Andin, serving as the Chairperson, and Jose A. Lorenzo and Gerardo T. Cabreros, acting as Members.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

PRC has announced that the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be carried out online. Kindly visit www.prc.gov.ph and follow the instructions for the initial registration.

Date of Registration: To be announced

Applicants for registration are required to bring the following:

• Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (downloaded)
• Notice of admission (for identification purposes only)
• 2 pieces of passport-sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
• 2 sets of documentary stamps
• 1 piece of short brown envelope
• Successful examinees must register in person and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date for the oathtaking ceremony for the new successful examinees in the said examination will be announced at a later date, as stated by PRC.

VERIFICATION OF RATINGS

The verification of ratings for the Forester board exam (including passers, non-passers, and those for removal) can be conducted online. Please visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and furnish the necessary information to confirm your identity. This service will be available a few working days after the release of results.

COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION

The two-day examination encompassed the following main subjects: forest ecosystem and forest policy and governance (Day 1), and forest engineering and utilization, as well as forest resources management (Day 2).

RELEASE OF RESULTS

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,076 out of 1,947 passed the Foresters Licensure Examination given by the Board for Foresters in N. C. R., Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this

October 2023.  The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of his/her liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.           

The members of the Board for Foresters who gave the licensure examination are Neria A. Andin, Chairman; Jose A. Lorenzo and Gerardo T. Cabreros, Members.

The results were released in three (3) working days after the last day of examination.

On November 28 - 30 and December 1, 2023, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line.  Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.  Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope.  Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
