The October 2023 Physician board examinations are scheduled for October 20-21 and 27-28, 2023. These exams will take place at various PRC testing centers situated in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
What to prepare for on the day of the exams? Here's a checklist of items to bring with you during the actual examination:
- Notice of Admission
- Official Receipt
- Two or more pencils
- One long brown envelope
- One long transparent/plastic envelope (for storing permitted valuables and items)
- Negative RT-PCR Test Results, if applicable, or Certificate of Quarantine, or a Copy of the Complete Vaccination Card for fully vaccinated examinees, to be submitted to the proctor on the examination day.
- Fully Accomplished Health Forms
What attire should you wear on examination day? The prescribed dress code from PRC mandates that all examinees wear their school uniform.
What items are prohibited during board exams?
- Books, notes, review materials, and any printed materials containing coded information or formulas
- Calculators with programmable or embedded functions, especially CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus
- Apple, Samsung, and other smartwatches, cellular phones, earplugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth devices, or any other electronic devices that could be used for communication purposes
- Any type of bags
Board exams during the COVID-19 pandemic require the following precautionary health and safety measures to be observed throughout the PRC licensure exams:
- Wearing a face mask and face shield is mandatory, and examinees should also bring alcohol-based sanitizers.
- Examination personnel will be equipped with face masks, face shields, and latex gloves.
- Maintaining a 1-meter physical distance between individuals is essential.
- Prior to entry at the examination premises, body temperature will be checked using a thermal scanner. Examinees with fever, colds, or cough will not be allowed to take the exams. Their payment will not be forfeited and can be used in the next licensure exam.
- Examinees are advised to bring their own food as they will not be permitted to leave the examination room during break and lunch times.
- Examinees should sanitize their hands before entering the examination room, after using the restroom, and before receiving test questionnaires.
- Please note that PRC will not assume responsibility for any lost personal belongings.
