The Electronics Engineering board exams scheduled for October 2022 will take place on October 24, 2023, at various PRC testing centers located in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
On the day of the examination, please ensure you have the following items with you:
- Notice of Admission
- Official Receipt
- Two (2) or more pencils
- One (1) long brown envelope
- One (1) long transparent/plastic envelope (for storing valuables and permitted items)
Calculators with the following functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, trigonometric functions, hyperbolic and inverse hyperbolic functions, logarithmic (log/In) and exponential (e) functions, whole number or fractional power y of x denoted by x ΚΈ, and polar to rectangular to polar conversions.
Negative RT-PCR
Test Results (if applicable) or Certificate of Quarantine or a copy of the Complete Vaccination Card (for fully vaccinated examinees) to be submitted to the proctor on the examination day.

Regarding attire, please adhere to the specified dress codes provided by PRC:
- • Male examinees should wear a white polo shirt with a collar (without any seal, logo, or mark) and decent pants or slacks.
- • Female examinees should wear a white blouse or shirt with a collar (without any seal, logo, or mark) and decent pants or slacks.
There are specific rules regarding what is allowed and not allowed during the exam:
- Printed materials with coded information or formulas, such as books, notes, and review materials, are prohibited.
- CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus calculators are not allowed as per Memorandum Circular No. 2018-01.
- Electronic devices like Apple and Samsung smartwatches, cellular phones, earplugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth devices, and others for communication purposes are prohibited.
- Any kind of bags is not allowed.
Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, certain health and safety precautions are in place for the board exams:
- Examinees must wear face masks and face shields and bring alcohol-based sanitizers.
- Examination personnel will be equipped with face masks, face shields, and latex gloves.
- Physical distancing of at least 1 meter between individuals must be maintained.
- Thermal scanners will be used to check body temperature before entry into the examination premises. Examinees with fever, colds, or cough will not be allowed to take the exams, but their payment will not be forfeited and can be used for the next licensure exam.
- Examinees are advised to bring their own food as they won't be allowed to leave the examination room during breaks and lunchtime.
- Hand sanitization is required before entering the examination room, after using the restroom, and before the distribution of test questionnaires.
- PRC will not assume responsibility for any lost personal belongings.\
