The list of room assignments for the October 2023 Chemical Technician Licensure Exam is released by the Board of Chemistry under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) a few days before the scheduled examination.
Scheduled on November 28-30 & December 3-10, 2023, the Chemist and Chemical Technician board exams for October 2023 will be held at various PRC testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Koronadal, Pampanga, Tacloban, and Zamboanga.
Required items for the examination day include the Notice of Admission, Official Receipt, two or more pencils, one long brown envelope, and one long transparent/plastic envelope for keeping valuables and permitted items. Examinees who are fully vaccinated should submit their Certificate of Complete Vaccination, while those who are not vaccinated need to provide negative RT-PCR Test Results or a Certificate of Quarantine to the proctor.
As for the dress code, male examinees are required to wear a plain white polo shirt with a collar and decent pants or slacks, while female examinees should wear a plain white blouse or shirt with a collar and appropriate pants or slacks.
During the examination, certain items such as books, notes, programmable calculators, smartwatches, cellular phones, bags, and electronic devices are strictly prohibited. Moreover, the PRC strictly adheres to COVID-19 precautionary measures, including the wearing of face masks and shields, maintaining physical distancing, and temperature checks prior to entry. Examinees are advised to bring their own food as they will not be allowed to leave the examination room during break or lunchtime. The PRC also emphasizes that it will not be held liable for any lost personal belongings.
