School Room of Assignments for October 2023 Veterinarian Licensure Exam (VLE)

The list of room assignments for the October 2023  Licensure Exam for Veterinarians/Veterinary Medicine will be made available by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) a few weeks or days prior to the examination.

The Board of Veterinary Medicine has scheduled the Veterinarian Licensure Exam for October 2023 , which will take place from October 11, 12 & 13, 2023, at various PRC testing centers across the Philippines, including those in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Legaspi, and Tuguegarao.

On the day of your exams, it's important to ensure you have all the necessary items with you for a smooth examination process. Here's a comprehensive list of what you should bring:

First and foremost, make sure to have your Notice of Admission and Official Receipt handy, as these are essential for verifying your eligibility and registration. Additionally, prepare one metered-stamped window mailing envelope, which may be required for official documentation.

For writing materials, bring along two or more No. 2 pencils and ensure you have ballpoint pens with black ink only. These writing tools are crucial for completing your exam papers.

To keep your documents and materials organized and secure, carry a long brown envelope. Furthermore, have a long transparent or plastic envelope on hand for storing your valuables and any other allowed items during the examination.

In accordance with Memorandum No. 68, series of 2020, remember to bring any required Health Forms, and if applicable, present negative RT-PCR Test Results or a Certificate of Quarantine as specified in the same memorandum. These health-related documents are crucial for the safety and well-being of everyone involved in the examination process.

When considering what to wear on examination day, it is essential to follow the prescribed dress codes provided by the PRC. These codes stipulate that all examinees must adhere to their respective college uniforms, as outlined in Resolution No. 311, dating back to May 18, 1994. Additionally, certain items are strictly prohibited during board exams, including books, notes, review materials, and any printed materials containing encoded information or formulas.

Programmable calculators, as well as electronic devices such as Apple and Samsung smartwatches, cellular phones, earplugs, transmitters, portable computers, and Bluetooth devices, which could be used for communication purposes, are not allowed. Bags of any kind are also not permitted within the examination area. Moreover, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are specific safety measures in place, including the mandatory wearing of face masks and face shields, with examinees encouraged to bring alcohol-based sanitizers. Examination personnel will be equipped with face masks, face shields, and latex gloves.

To ensure physical distancing, a 1-meter gap between individuals is required. Temperature checks using thermal scanners will be conducted before entering the examination premises, and those with fever, colds, or a cough will be denied entry but can retain their payment for use in the next licensure exam. Examinees should bring their own food, as they won't be allowed to leave the examination room during break and lunch times. Sanitization is required before entering the examination room, after restroom use, and before receiving test questionnaires. Finally, it's important to note that the PRC disclaims responsibility for any lost personal belongings.
