School Room Assignments September 2023 Certified Public Accountant CPA Licensure Examination

 

In the lead-up to the September 2023 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam (CPALE), the Board of Accountancy (BOA) of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in Manila will make available the room assignments a few days prior to the examination.

The CPA licensure examinations for September 2023 are scheduled to take place from September 30 to October 2, 2023, and will be held at various PRC testing centers situated in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

What should you bring on the day of your exams? Here is a list of items you need to have with you during the actual examination:

1. Your Notice of Admission
2. An Official Receipt
3. A single metered-stamped window mailing envelope
4. Two or more No. 2 pencils
5. Black ink ballpoint pens
6. A long brown envelope
7. A long transparent/plastic envelope (for safekeeping of your valuables and other permitted items)
8. Health Forms (in accordance with Memorandum No. 68, series of 2020)
9. If applicable, provide the proctor with a Negative RT-PCR Test Result or a Certificate of Quarantine. Fully vaccinated examinees should also submit a Certificate or a copy of their Complete Vaccination Card on the day of the examination.

What should you dress in for the day of the examination? The PRC has outlined the following attire guidelines:

1. Male examinees should wear a white polo shirt with a collar, free of any seals, logos, or marks, along with appropriate trousers or slacks.
2. Female examinees are advised to wear a white blouse or shirt with a collar, without any seals, logos, or marks, paired with suitable pants or slacks.

Permitted and Prohibited Items:

1. Prohibited items include books, notes, review materials, and any printed materials containing coded information or formulas.
2. Only basic calculators are permitted, defined as those with basic functions (+, -, x, and /), as well as memory keys (M+, M-, MR, and MC). Calculators featuring TAX functions are also acceptable.
3. Smartwatches from brands like Apple and Samsung, cellular phones, earplugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth devices, or any other electronic communication devices are strictly prohibited.
4. The use of bags of any kind is not allowed.

Additionally, examinees must furnish the proctor with certain documents on the day of the examination. These documents include proof of full vaccination, which varies depending on whether the vaccine administered requires one or two doses and a booster shot, or as per the latest definition of "Fully Vaccinated." Examinees who are not fully vaccinated are required to provide an RT-PCR test result. Alternatively, if an examinee has recently recovered from COVID-19, they must submit a Certificate of Completion of Isolation, signed by one of the following authorized individuals:

1. A duly licensed Physician (either from the government or private sector).
2. A Municipal Health Officer, Provincial Health Officer, or City Health Officer.
3. A designated Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERTs) Officer or Barangay Health 
4. Worker who has visited the examinee's residence or examined the examination personnel.

Examinees arriving from foreign countries are obligated to adhere to the latest quarantine and isolation protocols and guidelines around the time of the examination.
