SCHOOL ROOM ASSIGNMENTS September 2023 Librarian Licensure Exam

In anticipation of the September 11-12, 2023 Librarian Licensure Exam (LLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the Philippines has unveiled the roster of room assignments. These assignments are typically disclosed a few weeks before the examination dates.

The forthcoming LLE will be held across various PRC testing centers, namely NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. This pivotal examination is under the jurisdiction of the Board for Librarians, overseen by Chairman Yolanda C. Granda, alongside board member Lourdes T. David.

On the day of the examinations, it is essential to be adequately prepared with the necessary items. The following items should be brought during the examination session:

Notice of Admission: This official document serves as proof of your eligibility to take the exam and should be presented upon entry to the examination venue.

Official Receipt: The official receipt of payment for the exam is a crucial document that verifies your registration. It must be carried along to confirm your participation.

Metered-Stamped Window Mailing Envelope: You are required to bring one metered-stamped window mailing envelope. This envelope is likely needed for administrative purposes or document submission during the examination.

Pencils (NO. 2): It is recommended to carry at least two or more pencils of the No. 2 variety. These pencils are commonly used for filling out exam sheets and forms.

Ball Pens (Black Ink Only): Bring ballpoint pens with black ink as they are the authorized writing instruments for the exam. Other ink colors might not be permissible.

Long Brown Envelope: You should possess one long brown envelope, which might be necessary for securely organizing and submitting your written materials or answer sheets.

Long Transparent/Plastic Envelope: This transparent or plastic envelope has to be brought to hold your valuables and other allowed items. It's advisable to keep personal belongings organized in this envelope during the exam.

Health Forms: In accordance with Memorandum No. 68, series of 2020, health forms must be included. These forms may contain health-related information required by the examination authorities.

Negative RT-PCR Test Results or Certificate of Quarantine: If applicable, you need to present negative RT-PCR test results as per the guidelines of Memorandum No. 68, series of 2020. Alternatively, a Certificate of Quarantine, as outlined in the same memorandum, could also be necessary.

Ensuring you have these items on the day of the exam is essential for a smooth and hassle-free experience. Adhering to these guidelines will help you avoid any inconveniences or complications during the examination process.

On the day of the examination, adhering to the designated dress code is essential. The Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC) outlines specific guidelines for attire as follows:

For male examinees, the prescribed attire entails a neatly tucked-in white polo shirt featuring a collar, devoid of any seals, logos, or markings. Accompanying this, appropriate pants or slacks are to be worn.

Female examinees, on the other hand, are expected to wear a white blouse or shirt with a collar, meticulously tucked in and free from any seals, logos, or markings. Coupled with this, suitable pants or slacks should be chosen as the lower garment.

To ensure the integrity of the examination process, certain items are strictly prohibited within the examination premises. These include printed materials like books, notes, and review materials containing encoded information or formulas. Furthermore, calculators with programmable functions or embedded capabilities, particularly models like CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus, are prohibited. Additionally, electronic devices such as Apple and Samsung smartwatches, cellular phones, earplugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth devices, and any other gadgets that facilitate communication are strictly disallowed. Lastly, the presence of bags in any form is not permitted.

Adherence to these guidelines is crucial to maintaining the integrity and fairness of the board examinations.
