School Room Assignment September 2023 Real Estate Appraiser Licensure Board Exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has unveiled the roster of room assignments for the Real Estate Appraiser Licensure Exam scheduled for September 6, 2023. Days prior to the examination, the PRC makes these assignments public. The exams are set to occur in various regions across the Philippines, including NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, and Tacloban.

Leading the administration of the exam is the Board of Real Estate Service, consisting of Chairperson Ofelia C. Binag, along with members Rafael M. Fajardo, Jose Arnold M. Tan, and Pilar M. Torres-Banaag.

In relation to the upcoming examination, it's important to be prepared with the necessary items on the day of the exam. These items include:

Official Receipt as proof of payment for the examination application.

A long transparent/plastic envelope to securely hold your permitted belongings.

Another long brown envelope.

Two or more No. 2 pencils.

Black ink ballpoint pens.

A non-programmable calculator that should have basic functions like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, trigonometric functions, logarithms, and xy calculations.

Required health forms as specified in Joint Administrative Order No. 01 (s 2020).

For those applicable, negative RT-PCR test results or documents like a Certificate of Quarantine or a Copy of Vaccination Card for fully vaccinated individuals should be presented to the exam proctor on the day of the exam.

These items are essential to ensure a smooth and organized examination process.

Items that should be avoided bringing on exam day include any coded information or formulas that can be easily sourced from books, notes, review materials, or printed materials. Additionally, programmable calculators such as CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus are prohibited, as well as cellular phones, earplugs, transmitters, portable computers, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, and other electronics that could be used for communication. It's also important not to carry any type of bag or any other undisclosed examination aids.

When it comes to appropriate attire for exam day, male examinees are advised to wear a neatly tucked-in white polo shirt with a collar, avoiding any attire featuring seals, logos, or markings. They should pair this with decent pants or slacks. Female examinees, on the other hand, are recommended to wear a tucked-in white blouse or shirt with a collar, also without any seals, logos, or markings. This should be combined with decent pants or slacks.

On the day of the exam, it is crucial to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols outlined by the authorities. These precautions are designed to prioritize health and safety during the PRC licensure exams:

Firstly, maintaining a physical distance of at least two (2) meters between examinees is imperative. It is required to respect this distancing guideline throughout the duration of the exams.

Secondly, it is essential for examinees to stay within their designated seats throughout the examination. Movement within the examination venue should be limited to minimize unnecessary interactions.

Furthermore, the wearing of a face mask is mandatory at all times. A face mask with a minimum of three (3) layers, such as a surgical mask, is recommended. However, opting for an N95 mask is even more preferable. Additionally, alongside the face mask, a face shield should also be worn consistently to provide an extra layer of protection.

Attendees are advised to bring a bottle of 70% ethyl alcohol to ensure proper hand disinfection. Regularly sanitizing hands using the provided alcohol is a vital step in maintaining personal hygiene.

To prevent the spread of the virus, it is vital to abstain from close physical contact. This includes refraining from practices like "beso-beso," hugging, handshakes, and direct physical contact with others.

Touching one's face, specifically the eyes, nose, and mouth, should be avoided to minimize the risk of transferring any potential contaminants to these sensitive areas.

In the event of sneezing or coughing, it is mandatory to use facial tissues to cover the nose and mouth. Proper disposal of used tissues is crucial to prevent the spread of any germs.

Lastly, it is emphasized that spitting in public areas, on floors, and along corridors is strictly prohibited. Adhering to this rule contributes to maintaining a clean and safe environment for all attendees.

In conclusion, strict adherence to these COVID-19 protocols is essential to ensure the well-being of all individuals involved in the PRC licensure exams. These precautions collectively play a significant role in curbing the transmission of the virus and upholding a secure testing environment.
