Deleter, a film starring Nadine Lustre, has taken the top spot at the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2022 box office with Php 126 million gross for its 7-day run in theaters. According to a Facebook post by Diaz, the film received excellent word of mouth and won big at the MMFF 2022 Awards Night, which helped it climb to the top spot after ranking second on the first day of the festival.
The Vice Ganda and Ivana Alawi film, Partners In Crime, fell to second place with a still impressive Php 104 million, while the heartwarming family-oriented film Family Matters came in third with Php 30 million gross. Coco Martin and Jodi Sta. Maria's Labyu With An Accent remained in fourth place with Php 13.5 million in earnings.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that Partners In Crime earned Php 30 million on December 25. Positive reviews also helped boost box office earnings for both Deleter and Family Matters.
