The aerial and digital channels of PRTV Tacloban allegedly no longer support A2Z



According to circulating reports, an allegedly starting today, A2Z will no longer be available on PRTV Tacloban's aerial and digital channels. However there is no confirmation yet.

18 radio stations are run by Favorite Music Radio and PRTV by PCMC in Tacloban. In the following regions, PCMC operates radio stations:

Additionally, PCMC has opened two recording facilities in Fairview and Makati City. By the end of 2021, PCMC hopes to air in 25 more locations throughout the nation. 


The Department of Education's Radio Eskwela programming were given a four-hour daily time slot on all PCMC stations, including affiliate stations worldwide, for free when the coronavirus epidemic closed down schools.


The company's two largest shareholders, Michelle Ayangco and Hermogene Real, each possess 49.99% of the shares. Real serves as the corporate secretary of the mining corporation Benguet Corporation as well as a director of Bright Kindle Resources and Investments, both of which are connected to the Romualdez family. 


The primary goal of PCMC, which was founded on May 21, 2008, was to build and operate a radio and television broadcasting business. By virtue of Republic Act No. 9773, it was given a legislative franchise to include Eastern Visayas. Its legislative authority was expanded to include the entire country in 2020 by RA No. 11508.


In July of last year, the backdoor listing intentions caused the trading of PRIM shares to be stopped. After the deal's full disclosure last Friday, the suspension was removed.
