Former vice president In response to Tropical Storm "Paeng," Leonor "Leni" Robredo's nongovernmental organization Angat Buhay has stepped up to mobilize relief efforts to affected areas.
On her Facebook page, Robredo said she and her group are monitoring the storm, with mobilization in place in six provinces in the Visayas and Mindanao.
Raffy Magno, the executive director of Angat Buhay, posted on his Facebook page on Friday, "We're organizing our volunteers in Capiz, Aklan, Zamboanga, Cotabato, Maguindanao and Negros Occidental to give emergency humanitarian assistance to families impacted by #PaengPH."
Robredo is maintaining tabs from the United States while Magno and his colleagues are also inspecting other locations. The Immaculate Conception Parish in Cotabato, the One Capiz Volunteer Group, the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation, and other volunteers in Cotabato, Aklan, and Zamboanga were a few of the volunteer organizations they organized.
