The Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) of ultra-bilyonaryo Manny Villar has begun its test transmission on Channel 2, the frequency formerly reserved for ABS-CBN.
Color bars and the words "ambs2 test broadcast" would appear while Channel 2 was being scanned on television; a test broadcast indicates that the transmitter is already on but no programming are being transmitted.
