Karla Estrada, a six-year co-host of "Magandang Buhay," will no longer return to the morning talk program after taking a leave of absence to compete in the national elections.
On Friday, both the "Magandang Buhay" team and Estrada confirmed to ABS-CBN News that she will not resume her hosting responsibilities on the daily show.

Estrada will make one final appearance in a goodbye episode that she has previously filmed. On Thursday, Estrada posted a photo with her long-time co-hosts Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros on Instagram, writing, "Happy to see you my Momshies! ”
According to the producers of "Magandang Buhay," a successor for Estrada has yet to be decided; nevertheless, special guest co-hosts have joined Magdangal and Cantiveros in her absence.
Regine Velasquez, a music veteran, joined the program for nearly five months until mid-June. She left just in time for her appearance as a judge on the second season of "Idol Philippines."
