MANILA, Philippines — The Globe Group and ABS-CBN will launch the country's first multiscreen, real-time interactive television channel, PIE, next week (Pinoy Interactive Entertainment).
“We made our programs interactive so viewers can participate through TV and mobile devices because we believe that they are integral slices of the PIE. Get ready for 21 hours of fun game shows, talent and variety programs, series, and talk shows every day in this new entertainment channel,” Vidanes said.
Globe and ABS-CBN announced that the channel's conventional viewing experience will be given a digital update beginning May 23. Through its partner station BEAM, it will be available to 11 million digital TV households in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Zamboanga, Naga, Baguio, and neighboring regions.
